A: When your current hosting provider can no longer fulfill the demands of your web site, or when you go through continual downtime, or if you are made to wait for hours for the support staff to respond back to you, it may be a good idea to switch your provider, i.e. to transfer all the files for your sites along with your databases from your current provider to your future provider. At izemhost, we know that this can often be difficult and time–consuming. Because of this, we will accomplish all that for you for free!Our highly knowledgeable technical team members will transfer your site content from your present web hosting provider to us. Our techs have got lots of experience migrating websites and can handle anything – from an ordinary WordPress blog or Joomla^™–powered site, to an extremely complex, custom–built app.

A: There are a lot of aspects to think about – the overall number of web files, the physical size of the database, the complexity of the website itself and the present workload of our web site migration experts, etc. Yet, we do try to perform all web site migrations within a 48–hour time frame. Less sizeable web sites are migrated much faster – usually in less than 24 hours.

A: Yeah. We’ll require the name of the web site that you want us to migrate. We’ll also require a way to log in to your present hosting account so that we can get the content associated with your web site.

A: In order for us to begin the transfer of your hosting account, you must already have an account with us. Opening an account with us will require that you to share pretty much the same details you have provided to your current web hosting provider. We’ve also got a very rigorous Privacy Policy, which describes how private information is used.

A: Nope. Your website will remain visible online during the migration. Once everything is done on our end, we will notify you so that you can examine it and check for any problems. If everything is OK, all you will have to do is update your domain name’s DNS settings.

A: Nope. We’ll never get in touch with your web hosting provider about anything at all. They will not be aware of the website migration either.

A: We support all Linux–driven hosting platforms. Fundamentally, if we can receive access to your Control Panel, we will be able to transfer your web site.The only platforms that we don’t support are closed–source website building platforms such as Wix, BaseKit, Jimdo, Website Tonight, Four Square, Mr Site, etc.
